This Press Release has evolved from over a year's experience in perfecting the camera qualities of RailCam.

ATS set forth to deliver a new mini-cam camera that would be smaller, lighter, and better for it's customers needs. The initial objective was pointed towards the HO-gauge and N-gauge Model Railroad demand which dealt with size issues. As it turns out, we were also able to also improve upon other issues such as picture quality, distance of wireless transmission, mounting and weight.

So now ATS can not only offer the Model Railroad folks a RailCam for HO and N gauge, but a whole new set of doors have opened for ALL OF THE RC FOLKS! ATS has begun selling HobbyCam. It's basically RailCam without a flatcar. HobbyCam can now be mounted on any of the following RC models: airplanes, helicopter, boats and cars.  And it can be done so by all of the Do it yourself RC Folks.

It's priced less than RailCam. It comes with custom made mounting brackets (screws included) for the mini-cam and 9v battery.Some competitive mini-cam distributors suggest mounting with Velcro but our tests prove that the picture vibrates with Velcro. HobbyCam comes with the camera, transmitter, receiver and all of the necessary cables needed for immediate use. You simply furnish the 9v battery and you mount 2 screws on your RC vehicle, or  RR vehicle, and your ready to watch your results on TV and/or create a VHS tape or DVD. MSRP is only $199.00. So DO IT YOURSELF AND SAVE! Lazy? No problem... RailCam with the HobbyCam camera comes fully assembled and mounted on a nice flatcar with a MSRP of $269.00. Either way, ATS can offer you the BEST/FINEST alternative in the Hobby Cam industry. No one else has this specific offering.

So in summary...ATS has perfected and improved its very popular RailCam mini-cam with wider vision (120 degrees), better quality video (I LUX), longer distance of transmission (1/8 mile), longer lasting wireless power (10.5 hrs with a NEW 6 AA battery pack, or 4+ hrs with a 9v battery), smaller camera size (penny) along with lens fine tuning and reception fine tuning.
